Why is surface protection important?

Prevent

Premature Material
Degradation

Cracking

Water can lead to cracking when it infiltrates materials like concrete or stone and then freezes, expanding in volume and creating internal stress. Over-time, repeated freeze-thaw cycles or moisture-induced swelling and shrinkage can weaken the structure and cause cracks.

Premature aging

Water causes premature aging by accelerating material degradation through cycles of wetting and drying.

Staining

Water carries dissolved minerals, dirt, and other pollutants that deposit on surfaces and leave visible marks over time.

Organic growth

Water creates a moist environment that supports the growth of organic organisms like mold, algae, and moss on surfaces. When moisture remains for extended periods, especially in shaded or poorly ventilated areas, it allows these organisms to thrive and spread.

Heat loss

Water soaks insulating materials, reducing its effectiveness and lowering thermal resistance. This allows more heat to escape, which in turn drives up energy consumption.

PROTECTED

UNPROTECTED

Treated surfaces are PROTECTED & PRESERVED for years
Untreated surfaces are susceptible to premature aging like mold

Unprotected surfaces cost you time, money, and resources.

What is impregnation?
Impregnation is a protective treatment that penetrates deep into absorbent (porous) materials, making them water-repellent from the inside out. Unlike a sealant, it does not form a visible layer on the surface.
The result: Water beads off , dirt doesn't stick - but the material remains fully breathable. Moisture from inside can still escape.
Impregnation vs. Sealing
Impregnation
Penetrates deeply (up to 15mm)
100% breathable
Invisible
Great for porous surfaces and exteriors
Sealing
Protective layer on surface
Easy-to-clean effect
Reduces limescale
Great for glass & smooth surfaces

Frequently Asked
Questions

How much do I need?
Product consumption depends on the substrate it is being applied to - the more porous the surface, the more sealant is required. For absorbent surfaces like concrete and stone, 32oz typically covers between 50-200 square feet. For hard-surfaces like glass and metal, 32oz typically covers between 450-600 square feet.

How is it applied?
Our products are specifically formulated to be easily applied. Simply spray, roll on, or brush the sealant onto the desired surface.

How long does it last?
Our products are engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions and high pressure cleaning. The typical lifespan of our products depends on surface activity. For example,  treated floors of a heavy foot-traffic area might only last 1-3 years, whereas treatment on a floor or wall surface that receives very little foot-traffic can last up to 15 years. Lifespan all depends on the surface usage and exposure.
